the happiest colour in the world
is national geographic yellow!
I'm sure we all have our favorites, this particular shade, for me, is not one to be worn but one that must adorn a house, a room, and which adds instant joy to the space...
in all honesty I prefer a grey palette for my living spaces, but this yellow, it does good things for my Serotonin levels, what is your happy colour?
there are many clever people out there who collect and group colours, here is one of them...

little india
Durban has the largest population of Indian people living outside of India.
so that means that there are an extraordinary amount of gorgeous ladies in their more gorgeous sari's, and lots of bling and head nods/shaking, and accented English, and curried everything and in little doses I'm finding it cool and interesting but in large doses I think it would be much too much....
so lovely Indian ladies, i think you are beautiful but very intimidating

work, live, eat, love
the annual trip to the in-laws complete
leaves me wondering why all we seem to do there is eat
admittedly i always end up doing dishes
and hubby ends up filthy and grubby
we visited with friends and family and babies
petted the dogs and discussed the treatment for rabies
it was random and hectic but also fun
